Position Overview:

Husky Tree Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled arborist to join our team at Husky Tree Services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tree care and maintenance, possess strong climbing abilities, and be comfortable operating chainsaws and other equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removals according to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Assess tree health and provide recommendations for maintenance or removal.
• Operate and maintain equipment including chainsaws, wood chippers, aerial lifts, and more.
• Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an arborist or tree care specialist.
• Strong climbing skills and comfort working at heights.
• Proficiency in operating chainsaws and other tree care equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
