We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and excellent customer service to patients and visitors. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Responsibilities:
- Cheerfully Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system (ModMed)
- Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Cheerfully Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect co-payments and process payments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, and mailing

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an asset
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software is a plus
