IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Munich, Germany

Reports to: Chief Digital Officer (CDO)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our healthcare company in Munich. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of critical IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and enhance our digital capabilities. Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological advancements that support our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with the CDO and other senior leaders to ensure IT infrastructure projects
  • Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including IT teams, healthcare professionals, vendors, and executive management, to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
  • Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and technology, to optimize project performance and delivery.
  • Ensure all IT infrastructure projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, delivering high-quality outcomes that support
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management and IT infrastructure, and by providing feedback for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure projects. Good technical understanding of IT infrastructure and networks is essential. Previous experience in the healthcare sector is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
