Loudoun County Government is Hiring a Preschool Aide Near Multiple Locations, VA
- Supervises children's behaviors, communication, and involvement in program activities; adheres to staff-to- student ratios; and follows established policies and procedures for supervision, interactions, and disciplinary issues.
- Supervises children’s behaviors, communication, and involvement; adheres to staff-to-student ratios; and follows established policies, procedures, interactions, and disciplinary issues.
- Supports, encourages, and interacts with children in classroom activities; engages children in exploration and play.
- Communicates with parents, staff, and site school personnel and participates in team meetings.
- May perform other essential job functions specific to the position and department assignment.
- One year of programmatic experience, including previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Child Development Association (CDA) certification.
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Successful candidates will undergo a criminal background and child protective services check.
- Must obtain certification in CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
- Pass the TB test within 30 days of hire and each year thereafter.
- Have or take OSHA (Bloodborne pathogens) training within 30 days of hire.
- Must annually complete a sworn.
- Disclosure statement or affirmation disclosing any criminal convictions or pending criminal charges.
