Are you an experienced Office Manager with a strong background in Accounting and Finance? Aimbridge Energy Group is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our Accounting Department while providing vital support to Human Resources functions for all AEG employees.
Dynamic Role in a Growth-Oriented Environment
As our business evolves, the Office Manager role is instrumental in adapting to changing needs, handling various tasks and projects as required. Fluctuations in transaction volume within our business units directly impact workload demands for this position. The successful candidate will need to manage interruptions effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure accurate completion of Accounting Department duties.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience in a growing business setting
  • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, and financial statement preparation
  • Experience with MRP software, particularly Fishbowl, is advantageous
  • Extensive QuickBooks experience, including initial set-up, is essential
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and advanced PC proficiency required
  • Knowledge of WA state and Federal labor law compliance
  • Experience in manufacturing, general contracting, or electrical technology industries preferred
  • Ability to coordinate employee functions, team meetings, and events
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Accounting Operations:
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Payroll
  • General Ledger Reconciliation
  • Monthly Close Processes
  • Inventory and Bill of Materials Management
  • Financial Statement Preparation
  • Human Resource Functions
Benefits And Insurance Administration
  • Manage benefits enrollment and administration
  • Maintain relationships with insurance providers
  • Work with COO on enhancing benefits offerings
Payroll
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Assist with onboarding and employee setup
  • Evaluate payroll systems for optimization
Accounts Payable And Purchase Orders
  • Manage vendor payments
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders
  • Coordinate with Engineering Department for supplier management
Accounts Receivable
  • Oversee customer receivables collection
  • Monitor cash flow impact of receivables
Month-End Procedures
  • Assist with month-end processes and bank statement reconciliation
  • Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
Performance Reviews
  • Track and manage performance reviews for department subordinates
  • Handle auditing and recordkeeping for employee evaluations
