King Machine of Illinois is Hiring a Hand Finisher Near Mount Vernon, IL
Job Summary: This position is responsible for correctly preparing aluminum segments for tire molds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proper use of air drill, hammer, pencil motor, diamond bit, and spindle motor
- Properly drill each hole into the segment and chip back
- Checking the cavity of the segments to drawings to see what needs micro-vents and housing
- Install housing and springs into the segment
- Handles hand-finish equipment
- Peen knock micro-vents
- Thoroughly clean segments front and back
- Comply with all safety and health regulations
- Approve all hand-finishing before inspection
Skills and Qualifications
- Work efficiently to complete each segment promptly
- Attention to details
- Availability to work overtime, including weekends and evenings
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Hands-on work experience
- Strong hand-to-eye coordination
