Vereen Center is Hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer Near Moultrie, GA
Responsibilities
ATs will work with the Vereen Center Sports Medicine team to provide outstanding service and rehabilitative care to athletes in the secondary school setting. Duties include prevention, evaluation, documentation, education, immediate care, referrals, and coordination of care for athletic injuries. Effective communication with coaches, athletes, parents/guardians, and other healthcare personnel will be essential. Secondary school coverage will include home practices and competitions for all sports. Travel to selected “away” competitions will occur as requested by the Athletic Director and as the home event schedule permits.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
(1) Graduate (BS or MS) of a CAATE athletic training program
(2) BOC certified by start date of employment
(3) Possess or be Eligible for GA state athletic training licensure
(4) BLS/ECC Certification
(5) Ability to pass a Background Check
Compensation
The compensation package for athletic trainers includes salary commensurate with experience as well comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to: annual incentive bonus, annual cost-of-living increase, health insurance, vision/dental insurance options, flexible spending account, paid time off, and retirement investments. All Vereen Center athletic trainers are provided with liability insurance, CEU opportunities/reimbursement, and BLS/ECC recertification as well as access to employee fitness facilities and discount programs.
