Turning Point Care Center is Hiring a Medical secretary Near Moultrie, GA

Job Description



Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a Medical Office Secretary to work Saturdays and Sundays 2-3 weekends per month.

The Medical Office Secretary functions as the point person for coordinating day-to-day operations of the medical office to ensure services are delivered in an effective, efficient, and customer-oriented manner and in accordance with all federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies’ regulations, requirements, and standards.

The preferred candidate will have :

  • Demonstrated leadership capacity and coordination skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Office and strong Power Point and Excel skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Sensitivity in handling confidential information.

This PRN day shift position will require work on weekends and holidays.

  • Saturdays and Sundays
  • 6- 8 hours per day (varies based on workload)
  • 2 to 3 weekends per month (varies based on staffing)

Qualified applicants meet the following requirements :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to pounds.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, with intermittent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function; reliable transportation is required.
  • One (1) year experience in a patient related field, required.
  • One (1) year experience with psychiatric and / or substance abuse patients, preferred.
  • One (1) year experience as medical / clinical secretary, preferred.
  • Great organizational skills and knowledge of basic office equipment / computers is required.
