Baymont Inn and Suites is Hiring a Maintenance Person Near Moses Lake, WA
Position Overview: As a Maintenance Worker at Baymont, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and appearance of our hotel facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, performing routine repairs, and addressing maintenance issues promptly to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the hotel grounds clean and well-maintained, including sweeping walkways, picking up trash, and watering plants.
- Maintain the cleanliness and chemical balance of the pool according to health and safety regulations.
- Perform painting tasks as needed to touch up walls, doors, and other surfaces throughout the hotel.
- Replace broken or malfunctioning room items such as toilets, TVs, lamps, drawers, and air conditioners in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and facilities to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints related to maintenance issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
