Description
The Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting manufacturing by executing on a preventative maintenance program that is compliant with our ISO 9001 QMS requirements. The Maintenance Technician works with both internal and external resources to resolve equipment failures to ensure that down time is limited and equipment is performing as intended. This role will also collaborate with various functional areas to identify and improve equipment and/or processes.
*This is a 2nd shift position: 2:00pm - 10:30pm*
Location: Morris Plains, NJ
Pay: $36.20-$47.56/hour (to be determined based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Key Skills and Competencies:
HVAC systems experience
Ability to perform pipefitting work on water, gas and pneumatic systems
Ability to locate and install new plant equipment, including all electrical, pipe fitting, rigging, and millwright work
Ability to use power tools and hand tools to perform mechanical installations
Ability to wear required safety equipment
Ability to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and blueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems
Ability to work independently on projects
