Bardess Group, Ltd. is Hiring a Controller Accountant Near Morris, IL
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform monthly close process including review of general ledger and posting of journal entries in QuickBooks.
- A/R and A/P using Quick Books and Quicken
- Maintain General Ledger
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports using Quick Books and Excel
- Maintain/Monitor company cash flow
- Monthly analysis and reporting on P&Ls, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow
- Billing customers, partners and suppliers
- Balance/Reconcile bank and investment accounts (business /ownership)
- Develop current and future projected yearly budgets
- Liaison to company accountant for yearly formal financial review and the preparation of yearly taxes and interim tax payments
- Validate Timesheets and Expense reports for staff
- Prepare and Submit Payroll using ADP system
- Administer company benefits/Assist in all HR activities
- Administer/Update Medical and 401K/Profit Share plans working with outside professionals
- Supervise junior financial staff as needed
- General office clerical duties as needed
- High level of proficiency with, Quick Books, Quicken, ADP payroll, MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- BA/BS in Accounting with 7 years applicable business experience (CPA a plus)
- Strong Analytical, decision making and communication (written and verbal) skills-Must be accurate and detailed with strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to Multi task is required.
