Job Title : Material Handler

Rate : $21.76 per hour

Shift : shift rotation 1st and 2nd. 8-10 hours per day

Must be willing and flexible to work overtime when needed.*

While reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the material handler will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unloading the cargo they will be hauling.

Must meet position qualifications. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You will take pride in your organizational skills and attention to detail.

What your will be doing :

• Responsible for the safe and efficient performance of assigned duties and the operation of a stand-up forklift.
• Support the needs of production through the handling and distribution of finished goods, raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant.
• Checks and verifies tags / marking / labels for accuracy.
• Loads / unloads trucks; processes and maintains appropriate paperwork.
• Maintains parts inventory; assists with monthly inventory; arranges and sorts warehouse stock.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

We'd love to hear from you if :

• Previous experience in driving a forklift / yard dog operations.
• Must be able to spot trailers.
• To succeed in this role, you will need excellent writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed.
• You can easily lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• You will need to able to perform repetitive duties, including going up and down stairs and standing for long periods of time.
