Job Description: BAR Brands is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to assume the vital role of Accounting and Bookkeeping Specialist. This position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping for our organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the financial affairs of the organization, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
• Record all ACH transactions and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize QuickBooks software to manage financial records and generate reports.
• Maintain organized records of bills, invoices, rent statements, and other financial documents.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card charges, and deposits regularly to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and file monthly Sales and Use tax returns, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
• Generate financial statements and analysis reports, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
• Facilitate the preparation of 1099s and Personal Property Returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage health insurance allocations and other journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors and CPAs, to facilitate financial processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles, with proficiency in QuickBooks software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in financial management.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
