Position: Transportation (Shuttle) Operation Manager

Reports to: Ownership

Description Overview: On-Site Logistics Manager involves coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of goods from suppliers to customers. Responsible for organizing and implementing procedures to ensure that products are shipped safely, efficiently, and on time. They work with teams of transportation specialists and warehouse operators to plan, implement, and control the flow of goods. The role of an On-Site Logistics Manager requires a deep understanding of supply chain management, including inventory control, procurement, and financial management. They must also be able to manage costs effectively and ensure that the logistics operation meets the needs of the business. An On-Site Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, from order placement to delivery, and ensures that it is compliant with relevant regulations. A successful On-Site Logistics Manager will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure, and have strong communication and leadership skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Driver attendances

· Making sure all drivers are in the assigned area.

· Truck assignments

· Making sure all trucks are in the assigned area.

· Trailer assignments- checking all trailers if needed for replacement.

· Investigate incidents and accidents and record keeping.

· Track-it input- input trucks and trailers into track-it for repairs.

· Using Kakao Talk- For communication with HMMA/Glovis/CIRG

· Must have some experience using Microsoft Word, Excell, and PowerPoint

· Answer all emails and calls in a timely matter.

· Implement safety policies and procedures.

· Incident Reports/5 Panel reports- Create Incident/5 panel reports for all incidents/accidents email to customers.

· Investigate incidents and accidents and keep required records.

· Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions based on available data.

· Responding to any issues or complaints.

• Manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

· Attend safety meetings.

· Comply and Enforce DOT regulation.

· Coach and direct drivers.

· Manage 1st shift and 2nd shift drivers.

· OSHA and DOT knowledge

· CLD class A license

· 10 years of experience in the transportation industry

· Direct, Optimize and Coordinate Logistics department in Cost effective manner.

· Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

· Meet Cost, productivity, accuracy, and targets

· Analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

· Proven working experience and knowledge as a logistics Manager

· Ability to lead and manage staff

· Proficient in Logistics software

· Manage Inventory of Equipment and supplies

· College degree (Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience

· Management experience in high volume, growth-oriented organization

· Must be strong in Management skills.

· Exceptions organizational and analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,500.00 - $95,000.00 per year
