Key Job Elements

• Specific site-based duties and responsibilities may apply,
• consult with local team;
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with
• PRS safety policies;
• Perform teardown repair, replacement, rebuild and
• reassembly of mechanical components;
• Parts cleaning for small and large motor parts;
• Conduct daily inspections and operate overhead cranes
• and forklifts;
• Use basic air tools, die grinder, drill, etc.;
• Route and connect hydraulic plumbing;
• Basic wiring and electrical assembly;
• Light fabrication and parts alterations;
• Operate saws, lathes, drills and other types of
• machinery;
• Operate Forklifts, overhead cranes and other equipment
• as necessary;
• Read and follow QWI and other work instructions

necessary to properly assembly product.

Qualifications and Experience

• Skill Level II 2-3 years of experience or Technical
• Certifications with other mechanical experience;
• Mechanical aptitude;
• Knowledge of rail car and rail car components.
