Inergroup is hiring immediately for Warehouse Maintenance Technician jobs in Monroe, OH. As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide maintenance and training for warehouse equipment. This position requires an understanding of industrial safe work practices, electrical safe work practices, and the basic principles of repairs on industrial machinery. You must be able to assist with installations and repairs for new and existing equipment using basic shop tools, electrical components and fabricated items to install, diagnose, repair and optimize machinery.
Starting pay of $16/hr and great benefits available!
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical components including VFD and Servo Motors.
- Basic understanding of Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to work with supervision to complete assigned work.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 or more years' experience in an industrial environment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Have understanding of decimals, fractions and the metric system
- Ability to read basic measuring tools (scales, micrometers, gauges)
- Must have valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to get forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift certifications
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed including light building repair.
- Perform Basic Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures while following a prescribed program and schedule.
- Install basic electrical components, such as switches and limits.
- Fabricate basic items, as needed, for machine repair and improvement.
- Use basic shop tools to perform all necessary repairs and fabrication.
- Follow OEM manuals to perform basic setup and repair procedures.
- Ability to diagnose, repair and find the root cause of basic machine problems that impact quality and productivity.
