This is currently a PART-TIME POSITION that requires flexibility (i.e. availability M-Fri) due to a bi-weekly alternating schedule. Please make sure you are available to work these days before you apply :)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with financial management, including billing, insurance claims, and payment processing
- Oversee office inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures
- Manage office correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in practice management software, office uses Oryx
- Familiarity with financial management processes, including insurance claims and billing
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
