We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our 1st shift team in Mitchell, SD. Depal Blender Filler/Seamer Retort
Loader/Unloader Tipper Tie Steam Oven
Palletizer Labeler Douglas/Case Packer
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesWork safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures
Comply with all regulatory compliance requirements regarding environmental, and food/feed safety
Operate all facility equipment based on machine-specific SOPs
Perform quality control tests on finished product and adjust equipment to meet product standards
Monitor equipment and document manufacturing process; adjust the flow of production to maintain production standards
Perform basic operator troubleshooting and communicate any accidents, threats, or downtime to shift supervisor
Maintain clean work environment to ensure safety and product quality
Complete any necessary documents or paperwork, timely
Train others on your specialized areas and cross-train on other machines to provide back-up, as needed
Assist other production and maintenance personnel, as needed

Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal work load.QualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred
Previous Manufacturing/machine Operation Experience, PreferredForklift certified or ability to become forklift trained, preferred
Knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
High level of attention to detail and surroundings
Ability to communicate and proficiently maintain accurate records
Ability to understand and operate basic computer systems
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb, frequently
Ability to work day/evening/night shifts/weekends and/or extra hours, as needed
Ability to tolerate varying environmental conditions; wet, slippery conditions; and confided spaces
