HIghly Regarded Locally Owned Business Seeks You as a General Manager.

What You’ll Do

The General Manager is responsible for the efficient operations and processes for the three major business areas of furniture, machines and supplies. The position takes a hands-on approach to the company’s accounting close and financial statement preparation each month. Responsible for Human Resources and IT functions as well as compliance for any required City, State and Federal reporting. Gathers data for all company and related company tax returns for outside CPA. Works very closely with the Owner on special projects providing data and management insight to jointly lead the business for ongoing profitable growth. Responsible for all areas in the company but Sales and Marketing.

What will make you a success in the GM role?

• Great communications and people skills with some prior supervisory experience
• Thorough knowledge of monthly close in accounting with experience in preparation of monthly financial statements
• Great PC skills, basic knowledge of networks and business software systems
• Experience and knowledge in basic HR functions as well as processing payrolls including benefits management.
• Some business education and a love for working in a small locally owned business is a plus.

How will you be compensated?

Salaried position- Starting at $60K- plus, depending on experience. Competitive benefit package.
