Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing beverage company based in Miramar, FL. They are dedicated to producing high-quality beverages that refresh and delight consumers around the world. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their accounting team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of their financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making by management
• Maintain fixed asset records and reconcile asset accounts
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Support external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and best practices

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Recent accounting graduate or up to 2 years of experience in Staff Accountant position including fixed assets, journal entries and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
