Oh, and If you are a car racing fan, we offer the Nodak Speedway, a 3/8-mile dirt track located on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. Hobby Stocks, INEX Legends, IMCA Stocks & IMCA Modifieds race most Sunday nights all summer long. We also have the Magic City International Dragway, where drag racing runs from May through September.

Nearly 40% of the city's residents are of Scandinavian ancestry, and every October since 1977, Minot has been the host to the Norsk Høstfest, North America's largest Scandinavian-American festival. Recent entertainment included Dirks Bentley, Big and Rich, Clint Black, Daughtry and Brothers Osborne.
