Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Promote independence and community integration for individuals
- Engage individuals in recreational and social activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
-Must be able to complete the RSI training program and successfully pass associated test to meet competency requirements
- First aid and CPR certification is required (Will train)
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed (may involve heavy lifting)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
