Here, You Will Make An Impact By
- Supporting the Benefit Funds Investment team at 3M, which provides investment advisory services and management for certain of 3M’s retirement plan assets, including U.S. and international pension plans, 401(k) investments and other retirement assets totaling more than $30B
- Working with external service providers and investment managers to gather information in support of investment reporting and reconciliation needs
- Coordinating a variety of critical compliance-related responsibilities, including audits related to financial statements and investment activities, tax and regulatory filings, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) testing
- Supporting the department’s record retention and reporting files, including monitoring team email boxes and maintenance of electronic filing
- Supporting recurring projects related to investment analysis and operations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, or economics
- Five (5) years of combined experience in accounting, investment management, finance, and/or treasury in a private, public, or military environment.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to independently manage workload in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to integrate quickly into a small team of investment professionals
- Strong process improvement skills and deep understanding of controls and compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- CPA, CFA or MBA a plus

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $72,681 - $88,832, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
