Description
Fully trained Inserter operators are an important part of our world class direct mail team. When fully trained, operators will have a good working knowledge of current USPS mail preparation rules and regulations so that they can work with and train others to have that same level of knowledge. They will also be trained to be able to set up and running a wide variety mailing jobs on our high-speed inserting equipment including matching pieces and ink jetting inline. All our operators have a strong attention to detail in this role to ensure projects being 100% verified, securely mailed, and / or are matching correctly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Required Knowledge and Experience
Ability to communication well using both verbal and written skills to appropriately interpret and communicate production instructions. Ability to interact with team members in a respectful and professional manner is a key component of the position. In addition to this, the operator will have high quality standards, good judgement, and good organizational skills. This position requires, or may require, access to “Client-Sensitive” data, PHI/ePHI access or authorization. Mandatory security training as well as background check may be required.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
Preferred experience running intelligent Inserters, setting up ink jet systems, matching cameras, and 100% verification systems. Ability to read and measure with the use of a ruler, add, subtract, multiply, and divide using a calculator.
2 years of print or mailing working experience
Physical duties
Continuous periods of standing while running equipment
Continuous small motor movements (Grasping, fanning, stacking)
Continuous lifting of 1-10 lbs and occasional lifting to 25-50lb
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
