Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Administrator - Senior for a contract working a hybrid schedule (Onsite Mon, Tue, and Wed. Remote Thur and Fri) lasting through December 2025 with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Network Core Engineering team, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the installation, deployment, provisioning, communication, and documentation of the network infrastructure, hardware, and software, ensuring their alignment with the needs of the business.
• Deliver exceptional services that align with the strategic objectives of the organization, encompassing service management, risk management, and successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network services with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate for this role must possess senior-level expertise in the following technologies:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with a recommended 8-10 years of experience.
• A solid understanding of network architectures, such as spine and leaf, is essential.
• Proficiency in spanning tree, VLANs, and EVPN is highly valued.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting BGP is highly desirable.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of these technologies, coupled with a proven track record of practical application and troubleshooting. Their expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth operation and optimization of our network infrastructure.
• Experience in the following technologies a plus:
• Cisco/Arista/Juniper routers and switches
• F5
• Infoblox/DNS
• Arista - CVP (Cloud Vision Portal)
• Python
• NSX

Must Have:

• Ability to work with a team. Attention to detail. May work under pressure at times
• BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
• strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Have:

• DNS Management
• knowledge of VMware NSX-T would be a huge plus
• Load Balancing
