Job Summary:
Envision Honda of Milpitas is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, base plus commission sales position in the auto industry located in Milpitas, California. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting and selling vehicles, and achieving monthly sales targets. This position is an individual contributor role, working closely with the sales team and reporting to the Sales Manager.
Compensation and Benefits:
The possible achieving compensation for this position is $80,000 to $200,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition to the base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn high commissions based on your sales performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts.
it will be $5000 guaranteed pay for first 2 months as trainee if no commission is gained .
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide a positive buying experience
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing vehicles that meet their budget and lifestyle
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits of our vehicles
• Demonstrate and test drive vehicles with customers to showcase their capabilities and drive sales
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals and meet monthly sales targets
• Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation related to vehicle sales
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to forecast sales targets and develop effective sales strategies
• Attend trainings and meetings to continuously improve sales skills and knowledge
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous sales experience in the auto industry preferred
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Proficient in basic computer skills and knowledge of dealership systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
