Mindcracker is looking for a motivated Cyber Security Auditor who will work on a variety of audits and projects encompassing cyber security, information technology, and help with overall development of a cyber and technology audit framework. This position will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and compliance of information systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity audit and assessment.
• Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) or other cyber security certification required.
• Preferred having Certified Information Systems Auditor - (CISA) certification.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multiple companies.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and lead cyber security audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls, compliance with policies and regulations, and overall security posture.
• Evaluate and adherence to industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, other Data Privacy regulations) and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., CIS Controls preferred, NIST etc).
• Identify and prioritize security risks and vulnerabilities within corporate infrastructure, providing recommendations for mitigation and risk reduction.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans, and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders and management.
• Review and assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards, recommending improvements as needed.
• Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization, including delivering training and guidance to employees on security best practices.
• Conduct security assessments of third-party vendors and service providers to ensure their compliance with security and privacy requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
