Mindcracker is Hiring a Procurement PMO - M&A - Utility Industry Near Philadelphia, PA

Mindcracker is looking for a motivated Procurement PMO who will work within a team to lead the successful delivery of project portfolios consisting of internal and client facing projects. The Procurement PMO will organize project and/or M&A delivery teams and oversee the planning, strategy and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of the projects/M&A transaction that align with the overall business strategy.

In addition, this role requires a high level of attention to detail and organization in managing all aspects of a project relative to initial project planning, scope, deliverables, budget, timeline, and quality.

*This is a hybrid role, Must reside in Philadelphia, PA*

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize, establish detailed project timelines, and direct the completion of several simultaneous business projects while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, achieve expected outcomes and within scope.
  • Organize and lead project review meetings to include clear milestones, progress expectations and escalations with regard to project completion risks
  • Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, budget, financial/operational KPI outcomes and resources.
  • Set and track project milestones; manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectation as needed.
  • Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders and functional SMEs to define, prioritize and develop projects and programs.
  • Analyze project data and provide metrics and reports to leadership that drive actions to improve our project management capabilities.
  • Evaluate company wide resources required to complete the project in comparison to overall resources demands to highlight potential constraints and/or project risks
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of the project management methodology, ensuring PMO has support needed to effectively deliver on project execution.
  • Identify overall PMO process improvement opportunities and work with senior leadership to implement process changes
  • Assist in administration of project management system including generation of reports and metrics to be presented to the leadership team.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience working as a Program or Project Manager, managing large scale, cross functional projects.
  • Deep knowledge of the M&A transaction lifecycle and general understanding of how M&A transactions are executed.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing large M&A transactions such as integrations, divestitures, carve-outs, etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Integration of procurement systems and vendors.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with all levels in the organization.
  • Outstanding organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience with Mergers, Acquisitions, and Procurements.
  • High energy, independent and self-motivated.
  • Oriented towards execution and solutions. Demonstrated ability to improve processes and to measure results.
  • Understanding of business fundamentals and major technology platforms.
  • Must have advanced level proficiency in using project planning software
  • Experience in service and utility industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
