As they continue to expand their footprint in the market, they are seeking a talented and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Director to join their team.
Position OverviewThe FP& A Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the company. This individual will lead a team responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support key decision-making processes. This role will be highly strategic in nature, helping the company continue on their fast growth path both organically and through acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to senior leadership to drive actionable outcomes.
  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive management and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine strategic initiatives, providing financial expertise to evaluate business opportunities and investments.
  • Drive the annual strategic planning process, collaborating with department heads to align financial objectives with overall corporate goals.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of various strategic decisions on financial performance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance, tracking actual results against budget and forecast.
  • Identify areas of improvement and efficiency within existing processes, implementing best practices to enhance financial performance and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize resource allocation and drive profitability across the organization.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing FP& A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations for direct reports, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional growth and development.
  • Promote a collaborative working environment, building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and promoting effective communication across the organization.
Requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably as a VP/Director of Finance or similar
  • Proficiency in using a variety of accounting & FP& A tools
  • CapEx knowledge and experience is essential
  • Understanding and experience with mergers & acquisitions
  • Should have comprehensive knowledge of analysis, forecasting, and KPI reporting
  • Must be familiar with Budget Processes and Capital Management
  • Should have the ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis.
