Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Title Landman local to the West Texas area or willing to travel from the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, or San Antonio. Open Positions:
ROW Agent/Surface Landman: Minimum 2-4 years of experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research public records to find the owners of the property.
- Prepare surface takeoff reports with detailed notes.
- Identify all Liens & Encumbrances across subject lands.
- Experience in ROW negotiating and leasing.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain TREC Right of Way Certification within 30 days.
Landman: Minimum 3-5 years of experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research public records to find the owners of the property.
- Prepare mineral takeoff reports with detailed notes.
- Prepare Leasehold takeoff reports with detailed notes.
- Identify HBP and open acreage using available resources.
- Evaluate lease provisions and prepare Lease Analysis Worksheets.
Title Examiner & Reviewer: Minimum 6-8 years of experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- *Same as Landman Position listed above.
- High level of interpretation of all legal documents.
- Experience in reviewing all Title Work, and comfortable catching errors and making corrections.
Essential Skill:
- Familiar with online resources including TxRRC, Drilling Info, and Courthouse Direct.
- Strong technical knowledge, analytical expertise, and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel and Word
- A strong understanding of all title, and how to solve various title problems
