The Academic Manager is responsible for administrative support and the success of academic programs offered on campus. The Academic Manager serves the best interests of students and maintains the highest standards of academic integrity in accordance with Midwestern Career College’s mission, core values, and purpose. This position is 100% in-person.

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Teach allied health subjects for up to 50% of the work time.
• Fulfill all faculty responsibilities in the classes assigned.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, orienting, and training faculty and assigned staff, which includes ensuring that assigned faculty members hold the appropriate teaching credentials.
• Assist in quarterly faculty evaluations and coaching sessions.
• Maintain instructor academic folders.
• Monitor transcript evaluation requests to ensure official transcript evaluations are received and reviewed with students promptly.
• Participate along with other instructors in faculty in-services.

Student Services

• Conduct student orientations.
• Assist in monitoring students who intend to withdraw from courses and improve processes to increase retention.
• Work with the faculty to contact students if they stop attending the program.
• Monitor communication with at-risk students to ensure their academic success.
• Assist faculty in monitoring student performance.
• Monitor student advising sessions for F grades.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
