Medical Records Coordinator for Oakhill Healthcare

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for Medical Records and Credentialing, filling requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Record information such as physician orders and instructions, dietary requirements, therapy notes, and medication information on resident’s charts, medical records and computerized medical record system.
  • Maintain Inventory control

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Computer Proficiency
  • Punctual with project deadlines
  • Practical implementation of organizational skills
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology is a plus.
  • Maintenance of Medical Records.
  • Filing and storing old medical records
