FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY ASSURANCE Technician!
Full Time 40 hours, (including Saturday rotation)

In addition to leading and training the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team, the team member plays a vital part in upholding our food safety and quality culture by assisting the operations team. You’ll be our ace in the hole, ensuring that we’re producing the best quality brownies possible!
What you'll do:
Adhere to established policies and procedures of The Killer Brownie® Co.
Monitor and assure food safety and quality through use of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Quality Standards
Monitor, maintain hold, and release program to comply with all SQF, GMP’s, sanitation, labeling, quality policies/procedures, and requirements as set forth by QA and/or managers in all areas of the facility
Test and inspect weights, temperature, and volume of product at various stages of the production process, from incoming ingredients to finished product
Implement corrective action and report deviations to the QA Managers/Lead
Inspects, labels, packaging, and finished product to ensure safety and quality
Assist in creating new products and specifications
Assist with allergen swabbing
Assist with Pre-Op and Post-Op inspections
Prepare complete, orderly, and accurate documentation and testing records
Maintain and operate scales, thermometers and all items used

Requirements:
Detail oriented
High School Diploma or GED
Able to work alone and within a team in a fast-paced environment
Able to self-motivate
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Able to continuously bend, push, and pull
Able to pull and/or push 300-600lb rolling racks
Able to bend and lift 50lbs, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
Able to stand for long periods of time
