Optimal Care Home Health Agency is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Miami, FL.

About the role:

The Registered Nurse’s (RN) primary role is to provide patient care and other services under
the direct supervision of the attending physician. This includes administration, patient care
and communication with the team and family. This position will work closely with the Family
Nurse Practitioner and Physician Doctor.

Schedule:

• Full-time position. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Duties:

• Administer medications and or injections under the direction of the physician.
• Monitor patients condition for signs and symptoms of disease.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine appropriate treatment plan.
• Ensure that patients are comfortable by providing support groups, music or other sounds to soothe them.
• Write up reports on patient condition and all dealings with the office staff.
• Provide emotional support to family members by explaining procedures in a non-threatening manner.
• Assist in completing patient charts when not able to during office hours.

Qualifications:

• Current state RN license in good standing.
• Two years of experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
