Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a valid license.
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
