Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities :
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and work in tandem with the Executive Chef to have a cohesive team
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and quality
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while controlling costs
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal supply levels and cost-efficiency
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold company standards and deliver outstanding service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Restaurant General Manager Requirements :
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment for at least 3-5 years
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent financial management abilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
