Staines, Eppling & Kenney, LLC is a Metairie-based defense firm handling cases in several areas including maritime law, general casualty, construction, workers' compensation, insurance coverage issues, and energy claims.

We are looking to expand our team with someone who is looking for an opportunity to become fully involved in litigation practice and to develop a critical skill set as a young attorney. Qualified candidates should be able assist in all phases of litigation, from initial file review, preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice and assisting with trial activities. Qualified candidates should also have great communication skills, and be able to convey ideas and strategy with colleagues and clients alike.

A qualified candidate should have 3 to 5 years of practice experience, though any level of experience will be considered. Experience in civil litigation defense is preferred.

This not a remote or hybrid position. We believe strongly in facilitating teamwork, individual growth, and collaboration, all of which are best facilitated in-office.

Salary is DOE, but benefits are excellent.
