Job Summary:
Audio video installation contracting company seeks Jr. Accountant. This position has diverse responsibilities and will be assisting accounting staff with day-to-day requests including large amounts of data entry. This person must be a self-starter and able to work on their own. The Jr. Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.

You will be working from home and there is a requirement to travel to the office in Mesa, AZ for a mail check 2x a week.

Responsibilities:
- Administration of expense reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts
- Administration related to purchasing, business insurance, job costing and special projects.
- Other Tasks to be assigned as needed.

Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an office setting with administrative work OR 2 to 5 years demonstration of ability to maintain stable employment.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Must be able to complete large data entry jobs efficiently.
- Accounting experience preferred.

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Accounting education preferred
- Excel certification preferred

Qualifications:
-HIGH IMPORTANCE: Excel – you must be proficient with Excel Formulas, Formatting, and Multi Tabs
- Ability to complete large data entry tasks
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
- Great communication skills
- Must be a Team Player
