They are currently looking for a Commercial Construction Superintendent for large Tilt Wall projects in the Memphis, TN area. Candidates must be able to provide quality onsite supervision, management and leadership. Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have an engineering or construction degree and 8 years of experience as a Superintendent. In lieu of degree, 10 years of experience is desired with a strong resume on complex Large Tilt Wall projects. Past experience representing all aspects of field operations for a commercial construction manager or general contractor is ideal. We anticipate that the candidate will have experience on projects over $5 million and over 500k sq ft in size. The Superintendent is expected to work directly with PM's, PE's and field personnel. The candidate should excel in working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, architects, local building authorities, and other professionals. The Superintendent is responsible for developing and implementing construction schedules, evaluating and adjusting work sequences, developing look-ahead schedules, enforcing and coordinating site safety and federal OSHA requirements, coordinating site logistics, conducting pre-construction safety and work coordination meetings with major subcontractors, quality control, and project documentation reports.QualificationsThe candidate should have a minimum of 10-hour OSHA training, first aid and CPR certification. Must have a Valid Driver's License and pass a background check in addition to a good driving record.Additional Information
