Akkodis is Hiring a Repair Technician Near Melbourne, FL
Akkodis is seeking an Repair Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a client located in Melbourne, Florida.
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour on W2 only
Repair Technician job responsibilities include:
- Performs electronic circuit board repairs on complex SMT and Thru-hole assemblies.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, bill of material, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Performs repair work on SMT and thru-hole assemblies (includes removal and repair).
- Performs repair work on traces and PCB’s.
Qualifications:
- Operates mini wave, hot air pencil, gold finger repair station, and metal.
- Ability to etch cut.
- Ability to follow all IPC standards (IPC-7711/7721).
- Ability to utilize assembly drawings and BOM’s.
- PCB/ PCBA experience is desired.
- Must have direct circuit board experience.
