Job Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist plays an important role in managing the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing department. This role focuses on project management, optimizing marketing processes, technology, and metrics for optimal results and scalability of our marketing operations. This dynamic position presents a rewarding opportunity to significantly impact a fast-growing company.

Role and Responsibilities
To perform the job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the following competencies to perform this position's essential functions consistently. All employees are expected to adhere to and be knowledgeable of Orion180 operations standards, established security/safety rules, and requirements for attendance. The requirements listed below are representative of the fundamental knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job successfully:
Process and Campaign Management: Support the execution of marketing campaigns and essential marketing operations initiatives, including campaign planning and assessment, workflow, lead nurturing, lead scoring, etc. Develop and maintain scalable processes that ensure campaign and lead management best practices. Own the quality assurance process for new campaigns, workflows, forms, etc., to proactively identify and address areas for improvement before the campaign launch and organize lesson-learned sessions post-campaign.
Technology and Data Management: Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, including CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and analytics software, to enhance marketing efficiency. Monitor and maintain marketing databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Documentation and Support: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for marketing planning and operations. Support the marketing team with daily administrative tasks, including budget tracking and coordination of marketing initiatives.
Reporting and Analysis: Work closely with business intelligence and marketing team members to ensure the data captured is sufficient to provide valuable business insights. Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact, using data insights to identify opportunities for campaign optimization.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years in marketing and communications.
Technical Skills:
· Proficient in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, various marketing clouds, CRMs, Google Analytics).
· Highly skilled in Excel and database management.
· Experienced in leading email, social media, and other digital marketing campaigns.
Project Management: Strong capabilities in managing multiple projects, adept in agile marketing strategies, focused on high-value and impactful initiatives.
Analytical Skills: A solid mathematical and statistical background is a distinct advantage.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Excellent communication skills for effective dialogue with all levels of internal and external teams.
· Ability to forge and maintain professional relationships and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and presentation skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a high degree of motivation and self-direction.
Physical Demands
While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, being able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop to open/close cabinets, and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
Work Environment
The office environment is quiet and, in a temperature, controlled setting with random adjustments in noise or temperature due to conversations, unscheduled maintenance repairs to the building or its interior offices, or unpredictable situations due to weather or other acts beyond company control. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule for their duties and/or job responsibilities and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on the company/department needs, project requirements, or customer demands.
