Job Overview:
Considering openings for a full time and/or part time Associate Attorney for new law firm practicing primarily in Delaware County. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join our legal team in the practice areas of criminal and family law. Experience in family law is not required, willing to train the right person. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal support and representation to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to grow their career in the legal field. The attorney will have a strong team of support staff including a paralegal and legal assistant. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and issues
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
Skills:
- Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to write clear and concise documents
