Job Summary:
This is a contract mostly remote role for a Personal Injury and Family Law Attorney. The Attorney will be responsible for handling personal injury and family law cases. This is a contract part time position for 5-15 hours per week; therefore candidates with their own firm or other employment ventures are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Duties:
- Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
- Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare settlement agreements
- Coordinate with experts and gather necessary evidence for cases
- Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits for court proceedings.
