The Custodian II (Daytime) position at Rossmoyne Elementary School is available for the 2024-2025 school year. It is a Level 6, 8 hours per day, 249.5 days per year position. Work hours are first shift, Monday through Friday, with altered hours and extra time as needed and approved. Minimum pay rate is $18.25 per hour.
Required skills include a high school diploma and ability to supervise personnel.
Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Maintains physical plant and grounds in highest state of cleanliness, repair and comfort for the success of our students. Interacts closely with building administration for specific needs, including repair work orders and special event setups. Performs interior and exterior building maintenance tasks and outdoor grounds maintenance tasks. Ability to work outside to perform landscaping and athletic field preparations. Operate lawnmower, snow blower, string trimmer, auto scrubber and other common hand tools. Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 80 pounds and work at heights of up to 30 feet.
