Renewal Logistics is Hiring a People Operations Specialist Near Mc Donough, GA

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic People Operations Specialist to join a growing Fulfillment facility. The role works closely with the leadership team and will partner with operations, finance, sales, and marketing to support the site's growth strategy and optimize workforce planning. 

This person will primarily be responsible recruiting, developing, and motivating the workforce at Renewal Logistics. Renewal Logistics Fast paced apparel focused industry leader in supply chain with over 100 Global customers and a 100% success rate. The female Founder and her husband have been celebrated in Forbes and as " E&Y, Entrepreneur of the Year". The privately held business in thriving in every way and is searching for the future brand ambassador.

The right person will be able to pivot between priorities seamlessly and is a self-starter who learns quickly and is comfortable working independently. As a point person for day-to-day employee support and office operations, this person will guarantee that everything runs smoothly, and will proactively identify & solve for any inefficiencies.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following:

· A minimum of 7-10 years Human Resources experience preferably as an HR Generalist, Recruiter, People Specialist, or in a similar role within a fast-paced warehousing or manufacturing environment.

· Calendar management experience, preferably in G Suite, either as a recruiting coordinator or executive assistant

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google suite, Salesforce, Bamboo and ADP 

· A minimum education level of: Bachelors

· Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills

· Experience building recruitment strategies and workforce planning as a whole

· The ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes

· Demonstrated ability to manipulate and analyze data and to present information in a way that allows leaders to make decisions

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and in a team environment

· Well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments

· Proficiency in handling confidential matters with appropriate discretion

· Strength and preference to perform well in a entrepreneurial and fast-paced company

Responsibilities

· Administers and educates Human Resources policies, programs, and practices across our dedicated workforce talent in multiple locations 

· Manages the onboarding experience for new employees, working in collaboration with other areas, such as IT, Operations, Finance to ensure the best employee experience

· Establish partnerships and consult with key business stakeholders and members to foster teamwork, collaboration, and learning within the HR team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment

· Supports change management initiatives by drafting communications, identifying potential barriers, seeking input from impacted stakeholders, and coaching leaders

· Works with HR Business partners and Operations leadership to diagnose supervisor skill gaps and identify possible training solutions with L&D

· Partners alongside management to address and assess performance management including coaching, counseling, career progression, reviews, performance improvement plans and corrective action administration

· Leads recruitment initiatives including recommending advertisement strategies, interviewing candidates, and coordination of employee communications and events for recruitment efforts

· Creates training plans for both HR and non-HR systems and functions by working with managers to develop training programs for job specific roles

· Constructs and manages HR dashboards to use metrics to drive strategy 

· Serves a pivotal point of contact for employees, researching and resolving payroll issues, benefit inquiries, employment verifications and providing general employee customer support

· Performs monthly audits of new hire data/access to ensure employees are properly set-up in Company systems; works closely with Payroll and Corporate team to address any issues 

· Leads the facilitation of new hire orientation and ensures required training is completed by employees

· Manages the maintenance of personnel/medical files, E-Verify administration, background, drug screening, and DMV adjudication review procedures

· Assists with Workers Compensation, disability, and Leave of Absence Administration

· Prepares all necessary termination paperwork and ensures exit interviews are conducted for voluntary departures from the organization

· Conducts focus groups, retention initiatives, reward & recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives such as gamification 

· Investigates any Employee Relations issues, employee complaints, and workplace issues while ensuring HR Compliance in accordance with Employment Laws and Workplace Safety

· Develops an internship program to maximize mentorship and development of new talent through a targeted pipeline

· Undertakes special projects as directed
