GSI Electronics Inc is Hiring a Parts manager Near Mayfield, KY

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR : AgRevolution is looking for a General Parts Manager located in any of the following locations : Mayfield, Kentucky, Columbia, Kentucky, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Henderson, Kentucky, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Corydon, Indiana or Vincennes, Indiana.

This position will professionally manage, establish and oversee the daily parts operations for an Ag dealer Parts Department by promoting and selling parts to all customers while providing excellent customer service.

The Parts Manager will direct and manage a team of associates to ensure quality of work and service while utilizing the highest level of customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

  • Develop and maintain effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Manage a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department and over the counter customers.
  • Manage parts business to working capital, budget review targets
  • Work with vendors to maintain the best pricing and discounts.
  • Fill and put together customer and shop parts orders
  • Oversees the process and stock order parts
  • Oversees process returns from shop and customers
  • In cooperation with local management and Human Resources, hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively. Identify employees’ skills and develop them by coaching and counseling on a regular basis.

Conduct performance appraisals on time and provide continual feedback on performance. Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies.

Work with the Human Resource Department to handle disciplinary matters, grievance resolutions, and other personnel related issues.

  • Ensure compliance to business practices, ethics, and safety
  • Adheres to safety regulations and company policies
  • Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location
  • Meet with customers on regular base at their farms for the purpose of sales and promotion of Parts and Service programs.
  • Assist subordinates in all areas of the parts department operations during peak season
  • Other duties as assigned by management

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 3-5 years parts or parts sales and prior parts management experience desired
  • Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both technically and professionally
  • Available for limited travel for training and possible assistance at other retail locations
  • Valid driver’s license required with a verifiably continued safe driving history
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
