Job DescriptionThese positions will be responsible for maintaining and developing procedure for our new automation cells, driving and supporting continuous process improvement, and efficiency goals of the plant. These positions will be involved with day to day analysis of production information and will manage initiatives related to improvements, preventive maintenance schedules, 5S, robotic cell repair, and programming. These positions require close working relationships with maintenance, quality, and production teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions (FANUC, ABB).
Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.
Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic
Train or manage maintenance personnel or subcontractors.
Align and balance new equipment after installation.
Process or interpret signals or sensor data.
Debug robotics programs.
Build, configure, or test robots or robotic applications.
Create back-ups of robot programs or parameters.
Provide technical support for robotic systems.
Design end-of-arm tooling.
Design software to control robotic systems for applications.
Conduct research on robotic technology to create new robotic systems or system capabilities.
Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
Integrate robotics with peripherals or other equipment.
Evaluate robotic systems or prototypes.
Install, calibrate, operate, or maintain robots.
Document robotic application development, maintenance, or changes.
Write algorithms or programming code for ad hoc robotic applications.
Make system device lists or event timing charts.
Plan mobile robot paths and teach path plans to robots.
Qualifications And SkillsUse of basic hand tools
Critical Thinking
Solid works/ AutoCAD and MS Office experience
Experience with ABB/FANUC robotics systems.
