Employee Relations Administrator(contract)
Summary : This position is responsible for performing the administration ofEmployee Relations related functions including the processing ofpayroll and managing the Human Resource Information System as wellas completing general office administration duties.
All functionsmust be performed in accordance with established company policiesand procedures and is highly confidential in nature.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities :
Employee RelationsAdministration :
Supports HR Manager with therecruiting process; including preparation of job postings screeningresumes and conducting initial phone screens coordination andfacilitation of interview and bookings preparing of job offers andscheduling of medical appointments Administers aptitude andpersonality test to applicants
Keepsaccurate record of insurance coverage pension plan and personneltransactions such as hires promotions transfers performance reviewssalary changes and terminations in HR system
Assists with completion of Form 7 for work accidents and preparesreports and payments for insurance carriers as required
Prepares monthly HR reports for entry
Maintains tracking of company benefits including safetyshoes and safety glasses
Prepares vacationbalance reports for management distribution as required
Assists with the administration of the company benefitprogram whereby books employee meetings form completion andmaintaining the forms for employee use
Prepares performance review schedule and status form for managementmonthly
Completes the payroll processing andenters all exceptions and personnel changes into UKG
Maintains all employee changes in the Group Benefitsystem
Assists with employee leaves andreturn to work management
Assists withcoordination of Service Recognition Program and Attendance ProgramAssists with the administration of the Summer Hire program
Maintains the employee communicationboard
Responsible for circulation of fileaudit as well as performing the ER / Administrationportion
Prepares memos correspondencereports and other documents as required
Coordinate meetings including ordering lunches and ensuring thereis a sufficient supply of drinks and snacks
ER filing Other duties as assigned.
