Memorial Health is Hiring a Clinical Dietitian Near Marysville, OH

A key responsibility of our employees is to accept and represent the mission, vision and values of our hospital. It is each employee’s duty to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers. All employees have the obligation to foster cultural awareness and promote patient, personal and environmental safety. Interacts with sick, injured, or disabled patients and their families, as well as clients, at various work sites to counsel on diet and nutrition; interacts with clients, staff, and the public. Provides nutritional assessment/care considering age, growth, and development, and specific needs of patient population (e.g. neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics, etc.); assesses patient’s condition, age, physical abilities, psychological status, language barriers, and maintains awareness of these needs prior to and during the nutritional care to be given; provides education appropriate to the patient/customer’s age, level of comprehension, physical needs, and social/cultural status on an individual’s basis; provides ongoing patient monitoring of nutritional status in a timely manner and provide nutrition care according to patient needs; follows policies and procedures for documentation of nutritional status and maintains relevant patient data. Plans and organizes clinical nutritional services and nutritional care policies and procedures, and performance improvement to provide continuity of patient care with inpatient and outpatient clients; functions as a liaison to the medical staff, nursing personnel and ancillary services personnel. Demonstrates knowledge of current developments in field to educate patients, clients, employees and medical staff. Employee performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s and department’s Ethics and Compliance program and is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer, or the hospital hotline.

Requirements
Must maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; must maintain license with the Ohio Medical Board; must maintain American Heart Association’s BLS certification.

Hours64 hours per pay (Every two weeks)
