Our start up client is located in the greater Maryland area and is seeking to hire an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a mid-large size company with food or regulated manufacturing expereince. This candidate must have the knowledge to understand strategic planning and manage all plant operations yet be hands on where you are not delegating these processes. This Operations Manager must have expereince and will complete the following tasks:

• Manage the budget, volume, variance analysis, planning
• Ensure processing, quality, packaging, and logistics run smoothly
• Process improvement and automation improvement experience is needed
• Ensure and maintain compliance for all state and federal regulatory requirements
• On call for emergency situations

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field.
• 7 years of manufacturing management expereince with strong supervisory skills of managing teams of 50 individuals
• Relocation accepted

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a fast pace and high level problem solving environment
• Lean, Six Sigma, certifications a plus
• GMP regulations
